24ร7 Monitoring, Incident Response & Carrier Coordination
SolveForce NOC (Network Operations Center) keeps your environment visible, reliable, and fast to recover. We monitor links, circuits, devices, servers, and cloud workloads around the clock; triage and resolve incidents; chase carriers; and enforce SLOsโso your users stay productive and your platforms stay healthy.

๐จ Incident Response (How We ActโNot Just Watch)
- Detect โ alert correlates signals (link down + BGP flap + site power = one incident).
- Triage โ assign priority/severity; check recent changes and known issues.
- Contain โ traffic steering (SD-WAN), path failover, temporary ACLs or throttles.
- Engage โ open carrier/vendor tickets; escalate per playbook; keep stakeholders informed.
- Restore โ execute runbook steps; validate services and SLOs.
- Review โ post-incident analysis, root cause notes, follow-up actions.
Runbooks live in the NOC and are version-controlled, linked to devices, sites, and services.

๐ SLOs, SLAs & Dashboards
We set Service Level Objectives (SLOs) per class of service and publish dashboards:
- Latencyโ 95th percentile thresholds by transport class (metro, regional, global, satellite).
- Jitterโ keep below 15% of one-way latency for voice/video.
- Lossโ sustained <0.1%; transient spikes promptly investigated.
- Availabilityโ branch target 99.9%; core/DC 99.99% where designed for it.
- MTTRโ Mean Time To Restore targets per severity and vendor carrier.
- Change success rateโ % of changes without incident.
SLOs are tied to synthetics, device metrics, and RUM, then traced to tickets for auditable evidence.
๐งญ Change Management & Maintenance Windows
- Planned workโ peer-reviewed changes, staged rollouts, automatic rollback, and customer comms.
- Freeze windowsโ critical business events (financial close, peak sales, clinical go-lives).
- Pre-checksโ snapshots/backups, health baselines, resource headroom.
- Post-checksโ service validation, SLO deltas, error budgets.
- Calendarsโ global and per-site with time-zone awareness.

Key terms in plain language
Open a term for a concise explanation of language used on this page.
Fiber Internet
Internet delivered through strands of glass using light. Fiber commonly supports high capacity, low latency, and strong upload performance, but availability must be confirmed for the exact address.
Latency
The time it takes data to travel between two points. Lower latency improves voice, video meetings, cloud applications, gaming, and other real-time services.
Service-Level Agreement (SLA)
A providerโs written commitment covering service targets such as availability, response time, repair time, and sometimes financial credits when commitments are missed.
Dedicated Internet Access (DIA)
A business-grade Internet connection with capacity dedicated to the customer rather than shared in the same way as typical consumer broadband. It often includes symmetrical speeds and an SLA.
SD-WAN
Software-defined wide area networking. It manages multiple connections and chooses paths based on application needs, performance, and policy to improve resilience and control.
MPLS
Multiprotocol Label Switching, a private-network technology that directs traffic along managed paths. Organizations use it for predictable connectivity between locations.
Cloud Computing
Computing resourcesโsuch as applications, servers, storage, or databasesโdelivered from remote infrastructure and scaled as requirements change.
Disaster Recovery (DRaaS)
A plan and service for restoring applications, data, and operations after an outage or disruption. DRaaS provides recovery infrastructure through a managed cloud service.
