An alphanumeric code is a system of representing numbers, letters, and other symbols using only the characters 0-9 and A-Z. The most common alphanumeric code is the one used in the United States: the U.S. Standard Code for Information Interchange (USASCII). Alphanumeric codes are also used in other countries, such as Canada (Canadian Standard Alphabet), France (French AZERTY keyboard layout), Germany (German QWERTZ keyboard layout), Italy (Italian QWERTY keyboard layout), Spain (Spanish QWERTY keyboard layout), and many others.

Alphanumeric codes are often used to create unique identifiers or passwords that can be difficult to guess or crack. For example, a randomly generated 12-character alphanumeric password has 2^60 possible combinations – more than enough to foil even the most determined hacker!
