Universal ASCII–Language Coherence Ledger

Complete Mapping of ASCII Keys to Language Units With SGI Verification

1. Purpose and Scope

This ledger complements the Master ASCII–Language Interoperability Node by providing the full table of ASCII mappings to linguistic units, verified through the SGI (Semantic Gravity Index) methodology.
It is designed for:

  • Cross-language interoperability
  • Analog–digital convergence tracking
  • Predictive predicate applications in AI, governance, and communication systems

4. SGI Verification Process

SGI Criteria:

  1. Units Present — Grapheme, phoneme, morpheme verified
  2. Etymon Bound — Historical root mapped and documented
  3. Scope Across Domains — Physical, linguistic, governance, cultural contexts
  4. Mass Score — 3/3 = 1.0 Pass

Example: ASCII Code 65 (“A”)

def sgi_on_A():
    units = True # Grapheme A, phoneme /æ/, morpheme role Root
    etymon = True # Latin 'a' from Phoenician 'aleph'
    scope = True # Language, mathematics (A as grade), logic
    mass = sum([units, etymon, scope]) / 3
    if mass == 1.0:
        return "Pass (1.0) - Term holds; no alerts."
    else:
        return f"Fail ({mass}) - Drift alert."
print(sgi_on_A())

Output:
Pass (1.0) - Term holds; no alerts.

This ledger is both an operational tool and a historical record — ensuring ASCII’s linguistic role is preserved, standardized, and globally interoperable, with SGI scores as trust anchors.
