SI Unit

The SI unit is the International System of Units. It was established in 1960 and has been revised several times since then. The most recent revision was in 2019. The SI unit consists of seven base units:

  1. meter (m)
  2. kilogram (kg)
  3. second (s)
  4. Ampere (A)
  5. Kelvin (K)
  6. mole (mol)
  7. candela (cd)

There are also several derived units, such as Newton (N) and Joule (J). In addition to these base and derived units, there are several other important SI quantities, such as time, temperature, amount of substance, and luminous intensity.
