Ohm’s Law can be rearranged to express current (I) as a function of voltage (V) and resistance (R):
I = V / R
This formula shows that current (I) is equal to the voltage (V) across a component divided by the resistance (R) of that component. It is another form of Ohm’s Law and is commonly used to calculate current in a circuit when the voltage and resistance are known.
