How to Create a Charter (Spectrum) Account


  1. Go to Charter/Spectrum’s Sign-Up Page
    Visit spectrum.net → Click Sign In (top right) → Select Create a Username.

  2. Verify Your Account Information
    • If you’re a current customer, provide one of the following along with your last name and ZIP code:
      • Phone number associated with your account
      • Email address associated with your account
      • Account number (found on your bill)
    • If you’re a new customer, you’ll first need to order a Spectrum service and then follow the same verification steps.
  3. Create Your Username and Password
    • Choose a unique username (or use your email).
    • Set a strong password with uppercase, lowercase, numbers, and symbols.
  4. Confirm Contact Details
    • Spectrum will send you a verification code via email or text.
    • Enter the code to verify your identity.
  5. Set Security Questions
    • Select and answer security questions for password recovery.
  6. Agree to Terms & Finish Setup
    • Accept Spectrum/Charter’s Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
    • Click Create Username to complete your account registration.
