Conduit

A conduit is a pathway or channel for conveying electricity, data, and other materials from one place to another. It can be made of metal, plastic, or any other material containing the contents being transported through it. Conduits are typically used in buildings and infrastructure projects where there needs to be a safe way of transporting wires and cables between locations.

Conduit systems come in many shapes and sizes depending on their purpose within the building or project’s design. They may range from small flexible tubes that can easily fit into tight spaces such as walls or ceilings to large rigid pipes requiring special installation tools due to their size and weight. In addition, the type of conduit chosen will depend on its intended use; some are better suited for electrical wiring, while others might be more appropriate when dealing with liquids like water lines.

In addition, conduits protect against fire hazards by containing any sparks created during electrical work inside them, so they don’t spread throughout the rest of the building structure – this helps reduce potential damage caused by fires started due to an exposed wire shorting out somewhere else in your home/building’s infrastructure system. Furthermore, it also serves as physical protection against rodents who may try chewing through unprotected wires, causing power outages if left unchecked! All these factors make conduits an essential part of almost every construction project today – no matter how big or small!
