Narrative (how the pipeline stays fast, lawful, and elastic)

1) Purpose & posture

3) Ingest & security fabric (semantics preserved)

  • SASE/SSE (ZTNA/SWG/CASB/FWaaS/DLP) governs operator access and SaaS toolchains; geo-pin enforces regional obligations.

4) Processing/transcoding (where formats are spelled)

  • GPU/CPU transcoders produce multi-bitrate ladders (H.264/HEVC/AV1); packagers emit HLS/DASH; SCTE-35 markers drive server-side ad insertion (SSAI).

  • Anycast DNS steers users to the healthiest CDN/region; real-time CDN switching mitigates outages or congestion.
  • QUIC/HTTP3 improves startup; edge caching reduces origin load; global 5×9 SLA enforced.

8) Telemetry, QoE & ops (pragmatics of proof)

  • AIOps QoE bus tracks time-to-start, rebuffer ratio, bitrate, error codes, MOS; anomalies trigger path/bitrate policy changes and ITSM tickets.
