Is It DS3 Bandwidth Or T3 Bandwidth?
In short, a DS3 is a frame structure (28 T1s plus 1.504 mbps overhead, all interweaved in a certain way, etc, etc). A T3 is an actual interface (certain peak-to-peak voltage, certain impedance, etc). It's rare that you would ever get your hands on an actual DS3 because that is created by, say, a T3 mux.

What Is MPLS (Multi-Protocol Label Switching)?
Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) is a mechanism in high-performance telecommunications networks which directs and carries data from one network node to the next. MPLS makes it easy to create "virtual links" between distant nodes. It can encapsulate packets of various network protocols.

Getting More Cost Effective Communication With (OC-3) Optical Carrier 3
One of the most popular communication products utilized by small firms is the OC-3. This is a fiber optic communication product from SONET, a leading information Technology company. SONET has a number of products like OC12, OC48, OC192 and others, which complement the OC-3. These products are very powerful as they have been specially made to carry tons of data and other communication traffic. Having one of the OCs enables you to seamlessly integrate with the rest and enjoy their reliability. OC-3 is as powerful as 3 T3 lines or 84 T1 lines.

Importance Of Using (OC-3) Optical Carrier 3 In Your Communication Department
OC-3 is a product of SONET, a company that has specialized in providing bandwidth solutions to enterprises. Some of their other products include OC12, OC48, OC192, OC768. The OC optical bandwidth is very powerful as it has a T1 line that has been augmented to sustain huge amounts data and voice traffic. These are critical components of any growing business and with OC-3; companies enjoy a seamless, reliable circuit that can handle the same amount of data hands by 84 T1 lines or 3 T3 lines.
Using (OC-3) Optical Carrier 3 Technology For Your Data Center
SONET (Synchronous Optical NETwork) is the parent company of OC-3. The company offers a variety of optical flavors such as OC12, OC48, OC192, OC768, and others. The OC bandwidths mostly comprise of a T1 line that is enhanced and allows enormous amounts of data and voice traffic payloads that are important components for any growing business taking into consideration the immense need to communicate cost effectively today. One circuit of OC-3 is capable of handling the data catered for by 3 T3 lines or 84 T1 lines running at speeds of up to 155Mbps.
