WiMAX in India update: BSNL launches WiMax service in Rajasthan- Gemini Communications and ZTE seen as contract winners
Indian government owned telecom operator Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) has just launched a WiMAX based mobile Internet service. Even as the government debates auctioning WiMax spectrum along with 3G, BSNL plans to use its first mover advantage to roll out WiMax services before everybody else.
